On 15 June 2026, the second session of the "Medical Industry Go-Global Series — Matchmaking Event for Medical Companies Going Overseas", hosted by Suzhou Industrial Park Urban Redevelopment Co., Ltd., was held at Yangcheng Digital Valley · South Bank New Land.

As an invited speaker, Ms Dong Xin, founder and general manager of Z&X Finance and Taxation Group, gave a talk titled "A Practical Guide to Chinese Companies Investing in Thailand". She joined experts from SGS, Amazon Global Selling, Alibaba.com, Google Ads and Yihai Chuangteng to discuss how the medical industry can grow internationally and to support Chinese medical companies going overseas.

During the event, SGS explained the MDSAP international medical device certification scheme; Amazon Global Selling shared overseas operating strategies for medical products; Alibaba.com presented cross-border e-commerce trends in the AI era; Google Ads shared practical experience in international brand promotion for the medical sector; and Yihai Chuangteng offered advice on AI marketing and global promotion.

In her talk, Ms Dong drew on years of helping Chinese companies expand into Southeast Asia, covering Thailand's investment environment, BOI investment promotion policies, the company set-up process, tax and accounting compliance, and positioning for the ASEAN market.

She noted that with the deeper implementation of RCEP and continued growth in ASEAN, Thailand is becoming a key strategic base for Chinese medical device, biopharmaceutical and health companies in Southeast Asia. While pursuing market opportunities, companies should pay even more attention to investment structure design, tax compliance and building local operations in order to grow steadily over the long term.
