Analyze the challenges and opportunities of the industry in Thailand
The General Meeting of the Thailand Chinese Enterprises Association was recently held in Bangkok. Representatives of member companies, industry chapters and Chinese-invested enterprises gathered for in-depth discussions on the development of the association, China-Thailand economic and trade cooperation, and high-quality corporate growth.

The agenda and the concerns raised by companies were highly focused, centering on the core questions facing Chinese companies developing in Thailand:
What bilateral policy adjustments are under way, and how will they affect Chinese companies in Thailand? This was a fundamental question for most attendees. The stability and predictability of the policy environment directly shape companies' medium- and long-term investment decisions.
From supply chain development to team management, and from cross-cultural integration to local compliance, the focus of discussion has shifted from "Can we get established?" to "How do we put down deeper roots and grow more steadily?"
How can different industries connect resources, complement one another and work together? More and more attendees see information exchange and resource sharing between companies as an effective way to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
As Thailand's regulatory framework continues to mature, how companies can build lasting compliance mechanisms and avoid operational risks caused by mistakes in the details was one of the most widely discussed topics.
A clear consensus is emerging: in today's Thai market, working together beats going it alone. Information exchange and resource sharing between companies are turning from a "nice to have" into a "must have".

The message from the General Meeting was clear: the development of Chinese companies in Thailand is moving from "each fighting its own battle" to a new stage of "coordinated development".
First, information value. Policy direction, industry developments and market changes are hard to piece together from public channels alone. By bringing companies together, the General Meeting served as a concentrated information update.
Second, resource value. Participating companies spanned finance, manufacturing, new energy, logistics, engineering and construction, technology and innovation, with representatives from both upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. Connections made on site often turn into real business cooperation.
Third, network value. When running a business in Thailand, a network of local partners is an important competitive advantage. The contacts and information channels built up through the association and its industry chapters are a long-term asset in their own right.
Fourth, compliance reference. Tighter regulation is the trend. When it comes to operating soundly within the compliance framework, the experience of peers and the advice of professional firms are far more efficient than figuring things out alone.

As a member of the Thailand Chinese Enterprises Association, Z&X Finance and Taxation Group took part in the meeting.

Dong Xin, founder of Z&X, held in-depth discussions with representatives from finance, manufacturing, new energy vehicles, logistics and transportation, engineering and construction, technology and innovation, and other industries, covering topics such as implementing BOI policies, localized finance and tax compliance, and industry synergies.

🔸 Implementing BOI policies in day-to-day operations
🔸 How Chinese companies in Thailand can build a sound finance and tax system
🔸 Compliance management of related-party transactions and transfer pricing
🔸 The path to building an ERP-based financial system for manufacturers
🔸 Tax planning during business expansion
These questions reflect the real needs of companies operating in Thailand: not just "registering a company" and "obtaining BOI", but staying compliant, reducing costs, improving efficiency and growing steadily over the long term.
Drawing on its experience serving 300+ Chinese companies in Thailand, the Z&X team held in-depth discussions with company representatives on these needs. Many companies expressed interest in further follow-up on site.
For companies going global, the value of a professional firm lies not in offering a standard answer, but in providing workable solutions based on the company's industry, stage of development and actual operations.
